This reporter has come across an unusual bit of news. A “news bit” if you will. Apparently, there has been a mix-up at the seed merchant, as people ordering tomato seeds are getting quite a different kind of plant!
Somehow, marijuana seeds have been packaged into tomato seed packets and sent out to unsuspecting growers.
As one surprised grower said after being very patient for several weeks. “Still no Tomatoes.” Mrs. Albert Albertson said she’d used the same seed company “forever” and had always been pleased with the produce she’d gotten. But this year, she noticed from the very sprouting that something looked wrong.
